Dr. Ronald Nhan
Dr. Ronald Nhan was born and raised in Toronto and attended York University where he earned a Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology and Health Sciences. He went on to complete his Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo in 2014.
As part of his clinical education, Dr. Nhan received training at the Lexington Veteran Affairs Medical Centre in Kentucky where he treated and managed a variety of ocular diseases with an interest in glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, cataracts, and dry eye. Since graduating, he has worked throughout the GTA, in Newmarket, Mississauga, and Ajax. Dr. Nhan grew up in the North York area and is happy to be serving the the city of Toronto. He is certified to prescribe topical and oral therapeutic agents.
His professional memberships include the Canadian Association of Optometrists and the Ontario Association of Optometrists. Dr. Nhan has a professional interest in treating dry eye and myopia, welcoming patients of all ages. In his spare time, Dr. Nhan enjoys staying active at the gym, tennis, skiing and cheering on the Toronto Raptors.
Dr. Austin Ly
Dr. Austin Ly graduated with Dean’s Honours from the University of Waterloo School of Optometry and Vision Science in 2013. During his Optometric training, he completed an Ocular Disease internship in Houston, Texas and a Primary Care internship in Honolulu, Hawaii where he received specialized training in the pre- and post-operative care of cataract and laser surgery patients.
Dr. Ly has participated in a medical missions trip to Guaimaca, Honduras where he provided eye care and glasses to underprivileged families with remote access. He was also selected to be an eye doctor for the Pan Am games in Toronto 2015 as part of a team that served over 6,100 athletes and coaches.
Dr. Ly enjoys working with patients of all ages, with particular interest in the fields of Binocular Vision and Low Vision therapies. He is a proud member of the Ontario and Canadian Association of Optometrists and he looks forward to taking care of your eyes.
